The officer stated that i was walking down the street with too fast of a gait, and I was then held in prison for three years. I became friends with an english man whom worked on roads--the very road i was walking down when i was arrested. He was arrested because he was wasn't working when an officer walked past him. We were shipped to america once the revolution was over because they had lost all the paper work that held us in prison, and they wanted to be safe about letting us go--atleast we weren't their problem. Jack (the english man) and I started a business together making road signs in philedelphia, and it was very successful. We worked together many years. Then one day, jack was murdered an unknown man that apparently had been following him since we were in france. I swore the day he died that I would find the man that killed him and bestow vengance upon him. in order to make it easier for me to find the man that killed by friend, mentor, and associate, I dawned his name so that when I introduced myself, I could tell by the look on his face whether or not he was the murderer.
