Image Typo 1.3

Another new technological advance brought on by me! With the help of PHP of course. Ok, this one basically is just an image, 100px by 100px, or an icon, which can be written (typed) inside of. you can enter any text into it except certain characters, which I am going to list how to do those in just a minute =]. Now any text you place where it says ‘TEXT HERE’ will be centered inside of the 1002 Icon in a pixely font (silkscreen actually). The base code is this:

The ‘n’ that is used is simply to aknowledge that you want to display a picture. The ‘100′ is the width. This value has to contain three digits, such as ‘010′ for a width of 10. The height is automatically figured by the number of lines. The last ‘c’ is the alignment of the text. The values can be ‘l’ for left, ‘c’ for center, and ‘r’ for right. Most of the time it looks best with ‘c.’ And for the special characters… You can not use the question mark itself in the url. However, you can replace it with ‘$q’ (without the quotes) to display one. If their are any other characters that do not work, let me know and I will make a fix. For now, you have to convert all spaces to ‘%20′ (without the quotes) ONLY when embedding it into a myspace comment or profile or something. To do this (if your lazy), just type in what you want into your web browser, then view the picture, and just copy that URL. It will have automatically converted all spaces to ‘%20′ s. If you want to make a newline within the image, use ‘$n’ (without quotes) in the URL. Here is the current list of variables that will be replaced:

$q > ?
$n > [newline]
$ip > IP address of viewer
$ref > Referer of viewer
$req > The request URI

That is all for now, have fun with it!

Saddam Hung

Wow, it is really sad to see how pathetic our country is. We actually hung someone ‘legally,’ which I’m pretty sure is the first in a long while… like a few decades. Not only does this prove that we are very barbaric, but also illogical. It may seem it to hang someone since they have hung and tortured many people during their life, but we do not have that right. We can not judge them because we are not divine. We are not perfect. We make countless mistakes and yet we are not judged by any other human and put to torture the equal punishment. Anyways, we made Saddam who he is. America gave him the power, the force, the arms to become what he is, and likewise with Osama. Both were individuals that we selected to help us fight off the Russians. And they did a darn good job at that… until they got bored. Then comes the ‘dictatorship’ era. It sucks that we are so stupid. I want to move…

Cool renders

Kiss RenderSalt RenderFin Render I have been messing around a bit with 3D Studio Max 8, and I made so prety cool looking renders. The reflection thingy looks really cool. I am eventually going to try to make a face, that goes along with a story that I wrote. I will hopefully share that later also. It’s about a guy that has a ‘natural’ power. Sort of X-menish, but I think it’s really cool. hope you enjoy the pictures, but not too much, don’t get messy ;).

Aslamp on myspace via rss 1.0

It is done, and in a very simple way… (I surprised myself :D). To put a picture with the latest posts into your myspace, use the following code:

And to have it link to aslamp from an image, use the following:

The following is the syntax used for formatting the image:

width of the image
| color of the text
| | color of the background
| | | number of posts to show

If you have any questions, please ask =].

PHP images in Myspace

I have found yet another flaw in myspace coding! They allow the image source to contain .php, as long as it doesn’t end with it! :D This means that we can use php files to write an image and have it display anything we like, such as the rss of this blog, with the php functions to write a .png file. I put this file at http://aslamp.com/wp-image.png.php, which can be embed into a myspace page with:

<img xsrc="http://aslamp.com/wp-image.png.php/.png" mce_src="http://aslamp.com/wp-image.png.php/.png"   />

The image is currently set to colors of my myspace layout, which i am soon going to change (since aslamp changed colors). If you would like me to do something like this for you, let me know. I will son have a version up for displaying any and all blogs within a resizable image. It will be cool.

What are you? … [human]

Humans are funny creatures.
Always wanting to know the things they will never understand.
Always hiding what they truly want in life, or maybe, not even knowing what they truly want in life because they are influenced by others who are trying to shut off the part of the mind that can access things they couldn’t even imagine.
Never wanting someone to get too close for fear it will destroy the very fiber of our being.
Never wanting to admit they have a weakness.
Always hurting.
Always makes mistakes.
Never settling for less than best.
Always being selfish and self-absorbed.
Always doing before thinking.
Never taking shit without defending themselves.
Always jealous [even though they're self-absorbed].
Always wanting the next person to stop talking so they have a chance to hear themselves speak again.
Always taking chances.
Always thinks they are the one truly unique person.
Never truly listening to someone.
Never showing how they truly feel.
Always wanting to find someone who feels, hears, sees, and understands things just like they do.
Never wanting to give up on knowing everything.
Wanting to be the equivalent to god.

Tengwar posted

I got bored, so I decided to write a page describing tengwar, the alphabet used in the Lord of the Rings, by JRR Tolkien. I almost have it memorized, so if you have any questions, feel free to ask. It was originally meant for the quenya and sindrain languages, but it has adopted an english version, which is what I’m sharing.
