Opera: Server Friendly

Why is it that every e-mail client wants to download all of the messages, and leave none on the server? People only use one computer to check their mail, don’t they now? Apparently deleting all the mail off your server is a good thing… Even though I have unlimited storage on my Yahoo mail account now.
Luckily I get to use my infinite amount of storage, and view my messages on my computer with one of the clients that clearly labels whether to leave messages on the server, Opera. In fact, it’s the first option under the tab. It’s wonderful and I love it, checking mail comfortably at home, and semi-comfortably elsewhere, using Yahoo’s managing client.
Opera isn’t the only client to give that option. Thunderbird and Outlook do, but you’ll have to search for it in badly labeled options… But that’s just my opinion.
I’ve been using Opera for a week or so now, and I’ve fully converted over from Firefox. It just doesn’t match up. The entire Opera M2 wipes it out: RSS feeds, E-mail, IRC chat, Notes… and more. If you’re interested in M2 alone, it’s available for the standalone download, but if you ask me, the whole package of Opera is amazing.

Back in the day I had “opera” mail because I sang in opera. Little did I know it would be such a cool browser.

Haha, like @operasinging.com or something? Hmm… Putting your profession in your e-mail might be helpful: coding@aslamp.com… I think I’ll stick that on my resume =].
