Capital

After taking the “Presidential Matchmaker” quiz on facebook, made by Change.org, I realized that a lot of the politians of the 2008 Presidental Election believe in a few causes: Abortion, Immorality of drug use, the Death Pentalty, and such topics discussing the morality of actions.

The government has reached a point where it must decide whether it is to become an active and completely controlling government, prosecuting those that “kill” their babies by abortion (if that is what they decide it is), use illegal drugs, and research “non-ethical,” scientific topics. Or: A passive government, that lets the citizens choose what is moral, and lets them suffer for their actions where they should: The conscience, and be judged by God, not by other people.

Personally, I prefer the latter, because it gives the population a chance to become smarter and realize what they are doing, instead of being told what to do, what not to, and how to live. I believe that each person knows what they want, what they need, and what they should do, however long it takes to realize.

The path of the American government will depend upon who speaks, who writes, and who votes. What will you do?
