aslampHC / Osmium / isLamp
Took me long enough to name it, but it finally has come out for public use. I call it aslampHC, High Contrast. I know, very original, but it’s what it says. There might be a few errors here and there, if there are, let me know, and I’ll fix them and release another version. I started with Derek’s Foliage, and just kept modifying it until I liked it. Just extract the files onto your desktop, or any folder, then upload to your /wp-conent/themes/ folder.
I had also created Osmium, before aslampHC, and it has a bluish look to it, much like the element Osmium. Some inspiration was pulled from Blackheart6004’s Osmium. Once again, if any errors are seen, please report them to me, and please, enjoy!
This theme was inspired by Derek Punsalan’s is.derekpunsalan.com, and evolved from aslampHC. I made it while I was on vacation down in a log cabin we rented. I’m pretty pleased with how it came out. Hopefully, so are you. As always, let me know if there are any bugs, and I will be glad to fix them as soon as possible.
Please e-mail c@aslamp.com with any questions, suggestions, problems, or concerns.

I’m just checked it, and it had all the files in it when I downloaded it. Are you sure you didn’t open it while it was downloading and only get part of the file?super rats

I’m able to get the files in the .zip over at the wordpress themeviewer, but when I click on the link on this page, the .rar, I only get the one file. Weird.Lamp

Hmm… I’ll put the .zip up for download here, to prevent further happenings. Thanks for noticing!I also sent you an e-mail about the theme, let me know if you didn’t get it.

What’s up with the loud music that automatically starts when this page loads? I opened it along with a bunch of other tabs, and it took me almost a minute to figure out where the music is coming from.PLEASE turn off this “feature” or you’ll annoy the heck out of anyone browsing this page in a semi-public place!
Sheesh…

I’ve been trying to work on a iframe solution to start playing when the site loads, not when the page does. So far I have failed at it. but now that you reminded me, I might start working on it again.BOOsearch

Are these files right? The images that come will the files seem to be ALL WRONG. They look like they’re from another theme I think called foliage. So what’s going on with this?Lamp

When I looked, 11:32 am EST, it appeared that it was missing the header background image. You have it trying to display “http://cokelove.net/wp/wp-content/themes/aslamphc/images/header-img.php?upper=000000&lower=CC0033″, which gives you an… RSS feed? I’m not sure. That might be interfering with the color of the header, which is #48596a. Could be a plugin conflict. If there is anything else, besides the header, that is wrong, or messed up, let me know.shannon

It might be the style.php… Although that file still has the information… Try deleting it, and leaving style.cssLamp

Ola,this design is quite nice.
What is your theme’s license?
Is that okay to modify it while still naming the first author (you ;) ?

Superb themes!I can’t find the license information. Is it allowed to do so? I am compiling a short list of my favorite sponsor-free blog themes.

I am noticing that there are two areas that are not working within the aslamp theme. One area I have been able to fix myself, and that was within the single.php page. The permalink on the homepage was not showing the content of the post once you viewed the post by itself, but I’ve taken care of that one.The other issue that Im having a hard time resolving myself is that any post that contains a comment cannot be viewed correctly when viewing the post by itself. Any post that has no comments appears just fine, and you can see the comment box for visitors to submit a comment to the post. However, on the posts that do have a comment, the comment box is missing and all content below it does not appear.
You can view an example of this by going to http://breakfastafterten.com/2008/06/20/two-year-absence/.
Any ideas on what code could be causing that? When I take out the the content below displays, but of course i want the comments to appear and I want to include the comments.php page.
Any help would be appreciated.
