Questioning Gifts

Most people will conclude that intelligence is a gift. However, from the perspective of the intelligent, it is quite a burden. Sometimes I wish that I could just let go of all my thoughts, stop from trying to analyze every part of my life, predicting the events of the future, trying to make things fit together perfectly. People ask me how I can be so nice (sometimes) and the true reason (after much over-analysis) is that I respect everyone more than myself. I envy them because they can live a lie. They can forget about everything, the morals, the real right and wrong of a situation, and just live. They don’t need to know everything to continue to exist. They don’t care whether or not something is right, only if it works for them at that certain time. Never caring about anyone else, or their future selves. Let me live with you. Let me live in this fantasy world that you call a reality. Let me play. Let me play.

Just because a person can live in their own world, does not make it a lie. To others possibly, yes. But to them it is not. The lie is just quick judgment passed on [possibly from jealousy?] from an outsider. Truly, if you think about it, that is the way life should be lived. Why worry about things that you are not going to change or have any influence over? Why not be happy? Why not live life to the fullest? You create your own world. Whether it is full of worries, lies, or happiness, it does not matter. It doesn’t matter to anyone. When a person dies, they are forgotten unless they are one of the few who made a lasting impact on life. But those are the few. Not to be negative, but you can try and make it, but unless you have money….this country will give you nothing. So continue living your own life, and make it the way you want it to be. Nobody really matters to anyone else. We think they do because we have been raised to think empathetically. If a person dies, they will be practically forgotten within years. Yes, you may think of them once in a while, but that is just what it is, once in a while. Just be happy. Do what you want to do. If you don’t want to be over analytical, then don’t be.
Well, i suppose this is enough for now, before i start rambling more than i already have. I don’t know if this makes sense to you, but it’s what i believe. You can believe what you want. But remember, you have one life to live. Why not live it happy?

Ok. I’ve decided that my life is going to be a giant movie. With a kick-ass soundtrack. Hmm I’m gonna need a lot of batteries for my boom box. And some cheap-ass-paid stunt people. And some flamethrowers… Maybe I’ll get a job first. Or just goto sleep. And dream it. that sounds good.

Perhaps the future events may not influence me, but I will never, ever, be so cold and selfish like that as to say that it won’t apply to others. Intelligence may be a great burden, but God gave it to you for a reason. I absolutely refuse to throw anything so valuable away. I believe that I could be much happier at least attempting to impact the world and failing, rather than sit there like a bump on a log bum with nothing good to put to one’s name. I swear that I will never be jealous of someone who lives like that. Just throwing away their life. This may be news to you, but there are some of us out there in the world who do care about the future and what will happen. Sorry to burst your bubble world, but I exist. And so did those people who think the same way I do. And you actually happen to know these people too I_Am_Rad, because those are the people who are remembered!

I’m sorry, I wasn’t addressing everyone else except me, I was talking more about the average american. The people that define our nation as a whole, the idiots, the people that work and work without knowing why or for what they are working. The humans that don’t care whether said events happen because it doesn’t apply to them. The ignorant mass that corrupts our world. I wish the majority of people would be as we are, intellectuals who care about everything and the reasons behind the actions that our taken, but the more I wish that, the more it seems to creep away from reality.

My whole point was living your life the way you want to live it. Happy. You aren’t throwing your life away if you do what you want. And if that happens to consist of sitting like a bump on a log, so be it….as long as your happy.

I feel very impulsed to at least attempt to help society. I hope for your sake that you don’t think all those remembered people were happy all the time, because they weren’t. And just so you know, you don’t have to be rich to be important. Ben Franklin was born into a poor family. I certainly hope you don’t think he wasn’t famous.

I don’t blame you at all Lamp, it’s not your fault. I didn’t mean to address you, just the former comment before yours…
